The Air Jordan 5 (V) Retro 3/4 High Men - Laney (White /
Varsity Royal - Varsity Maize) are classics, and were
released on May 10, 2000, retailing for $120.Many sneaker
fiends were praying that these would release again in 2006/
2007 with the other Air Jordan 5 ( V ) retros, but unfortunately
they didn¡¯t. These are nicknamed the ¡°Laneys¡± after Jordan¡¯s
high school basketball team, as these feature the school¡¯s
official colors. They feature an all white leather upper with
yellow and blue midsole, as well as a yellow and blue ¡°23¡å
stitched onto the side of the shoe. These also featured the blue
tongue with the yellow Jumpman, which helped to make them oh so sweet
and adored by Jordan fanatics.
